Mary Gregis
A graduate of University of Central England (M.A.F.A.), Mary is an exhibiting artist and Art Tutor (P.G.C.E.)covering a range of beginner to advanced Adult Creative Fine Art Classes.
She assisted at pigment workshops at the Prince’s Drawing Studio in London and San Martino Italy which inform her work on the preparation of modern and historic pigments.
Mary lived in France from 1984 – 1992 and was a residential artist in the Burgundy for three years which included the supervision painting of the first 3-story Himalayan temple in Europe. She currently teaches Advanced Watercolour practise and Life Drawing at West Cheshire College, Chester and General Art classes to support people with mental health problems.
She was awarded the Chester Municipal Charities Award in Teaching in 2009.

“My life has been profoundly touched by living and working with people from the Himalayas such as Bhutan, Tibet and India and this has inspired me to explore various aspects of the cultures and landscape in my work”.
