After graduating from Art College, Ann travelled to East Africa, where, whilst raising a family, she began illustrating and teaching. Ann now lives in Cheshire, where, for over 28 years, she has been a practising Artist and Art Tutor in adult education. Her love of painting and for inspiring others makes the Art Courses popular and workshops and demonstrations in great demand.
Although happy using any medium, Ann works mainly in watercolour and mixed media. She works spontaneously, aiming to catch the specific nature and energy of her subject - figure, flower or place - with fresh, vibrant marks, and images often spilling over to the mount.
